Hello, and welcome to my introduction to Jerome Green Coaching. I am, in straightforward terms, a coach. Since the pandemic, I have become increasingly aware of how important it is to show up for my clients, ready to provide acute listening, Bullet Proof outcomes, agility, vulnerability, and curiosity.
Instead of posting a list of my services and products that can take you down a rabbit hole, I decided to keep it simple and tell you a bit about myself. I encourage you to contact me to have a conversation about your needs and see if I can assist or suggest someone in my worldwide network who can.
A former mentor of mine once gave me a great piece of advice. I was getting ready to head out of town to do a workshop. I was gathering material, videos, PowerPoints, and anything else I could find. I called him for some coaching advice, and he said, "Take a Ham Sandwich and a Notepad"- translation, focus on showing up. That is what I do with people I partner with during the development and growth process.
I am a product of the NYC housing projects, specifically Redfern Projects. Growing up in Redfern Projects, when I did, provided me with a cultural feast of various ethnic groups, races, and religions. I am grateful that my life starting at Redfern. The environment allowed me to seek vertical growth and broaden my perspective, which greatly aids me in my coaching with executives, middle managers, maintenance workers, or issues around Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging.
Why the golf photo? I played golf for 30 years but was introduced to golf by my dad when I was eight years old. He would be walking home from work and pass by the neighboring golf course and pick up balls that golfer hit out of bounds. It pretty ironic that I started playing the game 30 years later. The game is where I do most of my reflections and find metaphorical opportunities for coaching and life. I even wrote a humorous golf book-On The Green, when I first started playing. While golf is my passion, it may not be yours, but we may discover how your activities tie in with your life and work during our coaching.
There is a lot more about my story, but I am more interested in learning about your story and assisting you in learning how to develop your inner coach.
The leaders and organizations that embrace today’s challenges will succeed by engaging in WIN's method: Work It New. Work It Now.
